Ik ben net terug van de kliniek!
Het gips moest vandaag vernieuwd worden en het was echt al echt een heel stuk genezen! Er is al een dun laagje hoorn overheen gegroeid. Ze hoeft ook nog nu maar 2 weken in het gips ipv 4 weken en dan krijgt ze speciaal beslag en dan mag ik weer gaan rijden (dus hoeft niet meer 3 maanden stil te staan)! Ik ben zooooo blij!
Ik kijk nu de hele tijd zo :D

(sorry mijn foto's zijn mislukt; alleen zwart beeld, maar de DA heeft ook een foto gemaatk en die mailt hij volgende week!)

Gisteren heeft Domi achter ijzers gekregen.

Het gips is eraf gehaald en dit ijzer is aangebracht.

Daarbij heeft ze nog een soort kit in haar hoef gespoten gekregen om de druk te verdelen en een tape met teer op de 'wond' die 5 dagen moet blijven zitten. Daarna moet die eraf en moeten we een week elke dag teer erop doen. Twaalf dagen na afgelopen vrijdag moeten we 10 min met haar stappen en dit langzaam opbouwen.

Ben blij dat er nu weer een beetje schot in de zaak zit! Het einde komt in zicht en kunnen we weer lekker gaan rijden!!

Gisteren heb ik het stukje tape met teer eraf gehaald. Moet nu om de dag teren en woensdag mag ik met haar gaan stappen (mag ook erop) en met mn eigen gezonde verstand :p opbouwen, zei de DA! Yihoeee!

Het ziet er heel goed uit maar het is wel een raar gezicht dat haar hoefje niet op haar ijzer rust aan die kant en je echt het hele ijzer ziet zitten. Morgen kan ik de foto's ophalen want de digi liet me in de steek... Misschien vanavond nog eens proberen of de digi vandaag wel zn dag heeft...

Ja idd. Dat is omdat de hoef dan ruimte heeft om te groeien en niet onder druk staat zodat het binnenste van de hoef niet weer door druk naar buiten geperst wordt. Er zitten aan die kant ook geen nagels in en aan de ander kant en voorkant een paar extra. Bij de straal zit een soort kauwgum/kit wat het ijzer vasthoud aan de hoef maar wel bewegelijk/dempend maakt...

Vandaag heb ik haar even gras laten eten, vond ze heeeeeerlijk! Ze at ervan alsof ze de hele winter geen eten had gehad :D
