Het heeft een paar maandjes geduurd, maar nu is m'n veulentje er! Vorige week zaterdag opgehaald. Ik had m'n andere pony meegenomen, zodat hij niet alleen in de trailer zou staan. Het ging super makkelijk allemaal, hij liep zo achter mijn pony de trailer in en keek niet eens meer naar z'n moeder, die wel flink heeft staan hinneken ;(
De dagen erna was hij ook heel erg rustig, volgens mij is hij z'n moeder alweer vergeten. Hij staat inmiddels op een hele grote wei met 6 andere veulens, dus das wel leuk voor hem! Hij is erg aanhankelijk en echt nergens bang voor, iedereen op stal was meteen verkocht. Hij eet trouwens wel erg veel, dus groeien zal ie zeker goed gaan doen!!

Wat leuk hee, hoe oud is ie nu? en is het een hengst of merrie.

Vind ie vast wel leuk zo met leeftijd genootjes is de weide.

Hij is nu ruim 4 maanden en het is een hengstje. Ja ik geloof wel dat ie het erg naar z'n zin heeft in de wei. Ben blij dat het nog zulk mooi weer is! Hij komt gelukkig ook naar me toe vanuit de wei, hij heeft nu al door dat ie dan lekker eten krijgt.

Leuk hee, ik weet precies hoe het voelt. Quinoa kwam bij me toen hij 10 mnd was, hij heeft tot z'n achtste maand nog in de pyreneeen gewandeld.

Fijn hoor z'n jong ding, kun je lekker alles zelf leren enzo, ga je hem ook zelf inrijden?

Ik vind het echt super zo'n veulen. Die kun je nog helemaal vormen. Hij loopt nu al heel braaf achter me aan en voetjes geven gaat ook steeds beter.
Ja, ik wil hem zelf gaan inrijden. Ik heb nu een haflinger van 4 die ik zelf heb ingereden, daar heb ik wel een hoop van geleerd. Ik weet nu wat ik wel en niet moet doen.
Ga jij jouw jaarling zelf inrijden?

Ik heb foto's gemaakt! Ik moet zeggen dat een zwart paard toch wel moeilijker is om te fotograferen.
Ik heb het veulen een nieuwe naam gegeven, hij heet Santos. Vond ik wel een leuke naam voor een stoere hengst :D
